Hello! My name is Tori Chapman and I am studying Nutrition in the Honors College at East Carolina University and teach a monthly nutrition class. My goal in life is to serve others with my heart’s compassion, my hand’s physical labor, and my mind’s knowledge and spirituality. Our bodies are incredible machines that that perfect down to the cellular level, which drives me to discover as much as I can about it. In the future, I hope to become a Family Medicine Doctor and serve in a rural community. One huge aspect missing from family practice is the focus on the most basic preventative medicine; nutrition! What we eat directly affects how we look, feel, and heal, so nutrition is vital. I can’t wait to learn as I teach about a topic that the majority of us (me included) struggles with.
